The texts we send, and how to stop them.

What we text

Goatkeeper is run by High Leverage, LLC. We send these kinds of texts, and only the ones you agree to:

• Call reminders. When you book a call with us, we text you about that call: once a few minutes after you book to confirm it (this one may come as an iMessage from a different Goatkeeper number), then the day before, the morning of, and a few minutes before. If we call and miss you, we text up to 5 more times over the next two weeks so you can pick a new time, and we stop as soon as you book one. That is up to 9 texts for each call you book.
• Transactional messages, if you tick that box on our text sign-up form or turn account texts on inside your Goatkeeper account: appointment reminders, account alerts, a statement we need, a question waiting on you, a month that closed, or a tax deadline. How often depends on your activity.
• Marketing messages, only if you tick that box on our text sign-up form: promotions, sales, new service announcements, and special offers from Goatkeeper. About 4-6 texts a month.

Marketing and transactional texts are separate. Agreeing to one never signs you up for the other.

How you agree

For call reminders, you agree by booking a call on goatkeeper.io with your phone number. The words next to the Book it button say so, and we keep a record of them with the time you booked. For marketing or transactional messages, you enter your mobile number on goatkeeper.io/contact-form, tick the box for each kind you want (neither is ticked for you), agree to our terms and privacy policy, and press Yes, Sign Me Up. We keep a record of the exact words you agreed to and when, and text you once to confirm. You can also turn account texts on inside your Goatkeeper account.

Texts are never a condition of buying anything from us. If you would rather not get call reminders, reply STOP to the first one, or email goat@goatkeeper.io and we will set up your call by email.

Rates and how often

Message frequency varies by subscription type: a confirmation and up to 3 reminders for each booked call, plus up to 5 if we miss each other, transactional messages only when something on your account needs you, and about 4-6 marketing messages a month if you signed up for them. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Stopping, starting and help

Reply STOP to any text to opt out of any or all messages from us. You will get one text confirming it, and then nothing more. Reply START to turn them back on.

Your number and your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. The companies that deliver our texts get your number and the text of each message, and nothing else. The full picture is in our privacy policy.

The fine print

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts go to the number you give us, so give us a number that is yours or that you are allowed to use. These terms sit alongside our terms of service.
