Sending your statements
Send last month’s statement for every bank account and card by the 5th, as a PDF or CSV, from the Statements tab.
How to send them
- Download last month’s statement from your bank’s website or app, as a PDF or CSV.
- In Goatkeeper, go to Statements.
- Tap Choose files. You can pick several at once.
- For each file, check Which account is this? We guess from the file. If it’s a new account, choose Add an account.
- Tap Send this statement (or Send 3 statements, and so on). We read each file and tell you how it went.
What to send
- One statement for every account: checking, savings, and each credit card.
- Last month’s, by the 5th.
- A PDF straight from the bank, or a CSV export. Both work.
If something goes wrong
- It doesn’t add up. If the transactions don’t match the statement’s balances, nothing is booked and we say by how much. Tap Remove it, then send it again or send a CSV from your bank.
- Already got this one. You sent the same file twice. Nothing to do.
- A scan or photo. We can’t read a statement without its balances. Download the PDF from the bank, or export a CSV.
